Who is eligible?
Youth ages 11-18 in Forsyth County, NC
Triad Restorative Justice seeks to empower people to address conflict and minimize harm through restorative practices. We work with youth in Forsyth County who are involved in the juvenile court or school discipline systems. We can also help youth work through family and personal conflict in efforts to avoid escalation. We primarily work with middle and high school aged youth.
Program Highlights
Youth involved in the juvenile court system can ask their court counselor for a referral to Triad Restorative Justice. In many cases, completing one of TRJ's programs can improve the outcomes of a juvenile court process. We can also work with youth involved in adult criminal court proceedings.
We offer two programs:
1) RESTART: an anger management and social skill development class
2) Impact Circles: a restorative justice process to address the causes of the incident and develop a plan to provide repair, accountability and support.
